Media/PR Queries

If you have any questions about anything on the site, please do not hesitate to leave a comment in the box below or contact me via the options in the sidebar and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Food Writing & Photography

I write here for pleasure and out of passion and, other than advertising revenue, I make no money from the running of this site. I do, however, write freelance elsewhere, and if you would like me to write for your site or publication, I would love to talk to you.

PR samples and news releases

I’m happy to receive samples of food, drink and  kitchenware but please check with me before sending. You can email me about your new products but if it’s something I’m not interested in, I will tell you.

Sending me a product does not guarantee inclusion – see the point on “advertising” below.

Reviews

All reviews published on the site will reflect my genuine personal opinion of the product/venue/event.

Giveaways

I am happy to host giveaways for brands but need several weeks’ notice as there are often other giveaways waiting to be run. Jumping the queue, or booking for a particular week is possible – for a fee.

PR companies/brands are responsible for posting items promptly to readers chosen using an online randomiser.

Giveaways usually take place no more than monthly, and will run from Monday, closing at midnight GMT on Saturday with winners chosen early the next week. Giveaways are also promoted on Twitter and Facebook.

Advertising

Advertising: sponsored links, side bar adverts and sponsored posts

Advertising is payable at least one month in advance with a discount when paying quarterly in advance.

Introductory rates for sponsored links start from £10 per month. I will only accept sponsored links to sites I like which I feel are relevant to my readers. Likewise for side bar adverts which start from £20 per month.

If you would like specific images or text incorporated into a post, and they meet with my approval, this would qualify as a sponsored post.

Content

If you happen to see any content (photography, writing or otherwise) that you perhaps would like to feature on your own website, I kindly ask that you please contact me and ask my permission beforehand. Thank you.

Please also see my Terms & Conditions page.

Hi George!

I must be a total doofus, but I can’t find a subscribe button for your blog. Am I missing it? It’s entirely possible, hehe. :)

Celia that would be fabulous. As you’re not a blogger please could you email your ‘write up’ to me?

Thanks :)

George -
I found your blog via a link from Lydia’s The Perfect Pantry. Would love to help test here in Brazil if your recipes aren’t too exotic – not always easy to find everything I need here, but do travel every once in a while to the big city – Belo Horizonte. Let me know what you need, what you are looking for, and when, etc.
Thanks
Peter

Hi Peter! Thank you for the offer. Have a look through the recipes tagged as ‘my recipes’ and see if anything looks suitable for you, if they do please do a short write up of the recipe – what you liked/disliked, if the recipe worked ok etc and then either blog it or email it to me.

If you need any more info don’t hesitate to ask.

Thanks :)

I don’t usually comment on blogs but had to on yours. You have a very unique writing style. A lot of people don’t have that touch, they just drone on and on in the most boring way. But not you – thanks! I can’t wait to try out some of the recipes you have here (after a trip to the market to get the ingredients). Cooking is my favorite hobby. Please check out my recipe web site at http://www.KAChef.com. Thanks again!

I’ve helped hundreds of companies increase their traffic and I’d love to show you what my service can do for you. I don’t promise the world, I’m straight forward and to the point … I deliver rankings. My rates are completely affordable and I don’t want to oversell you either, I start small and have my clients begging for more. I won’t take on your site unless I know I can deliver rankings. Reply to this e-mail if you have the slightest interest … you’ll never see rankings the same way again.
