The first time I ate oxtail was in a tiny family run trattoria in Rome, there wasn&#039;t a menu, just the food of the day. It was absolutely gorgeous and has inspired me to eat it many more times. I&#039;ll head over and look at your recipe asap. 

The allspice and bay really come through in this dish, they&#039;re really heady flavours and suit the strong oxtail really well.</description>

		<description>It&#039;s down to restaurants and books like St John&#039;s that have inspired people to use some of the less appealing cuts and get back to the basics, that I have to admit is something I&#039;m really pleased about.

I long to have an Aga but I can&#039;t see that happening anytime soon, the slow oven in my range does a great job though. 

Beetroot &amp; oxtail isn&#039;t a combination I&#039;ve tried either, I&#039;d love to hear how you get on.</description>
