I found you again! I used to write in Las Vegas now on Whidbey Island in Washington State. I thought this piece was terrific! It's hard to believe that it has been 25 years since that music video was done; they all look so young. I do a food link post every week and you are one of the best!

Very interesting , I can not imagine what life would be like if I had no food, not being able to pop to the shops and get what I want to eat.
I have only just found blogger aid.
Makes me realize that there is still so much poverty in the world.
I don`t understand why, with so many rich countries are unable to end this poverty.

It is so sad isn't it, that we are still battling the same problems 25 years on. Here's hoping that BloggerAid continues to gain support and help the needy.

I can't believe it's twenty five years since the first Bandaid record came out, I never forget hearing it for first time in school assembly. It's very apt to see it here alongside the bloggeraid cookbook. So tragic that the need has still not gone away all this time later.

[...] Feed The World « Culinary Travels Of A Kitchen Goddess You too can help in this endeavour by buying the book and/or spreading the word about it. There is so much of poverty in the world and whilst this book will not resolve every problem, the money raised is a tiny step forward towards our underprivileged fellow beings’ welfare. One day, who knows, those tiny steps will become giant leaps one day. So please help in this endeavour and promote the book in any way you can. And I emphasise once again that 100% of the proceeds from this book will go towards the World Food Program (the United Nations frontline agency) called School Meals.
Hi Teresa, reading through some of the excerpts of text from the children in the book is heart breaking; it really does make you think.
